David will take us on a beautiful journey together through the landscape of the elements. Through movement and dance, we will call on the support of the elements earth, fire, water and air and free up our imaginations to access the archetypal healing and inspiring qualities of each element.
The four elements are manifestations of the divine and we are made from them. Dancing them is a way to connect deeply to our deepest nature, to nature around us and to the nature of existence. The elements and their guardians are guides, teachers and allies. We dance the elements as support and gateways into sacred space and with the support of the archetypal elements we co-create prayer space for dreaming and healing.
You are welcome and encouraged to set up your own personal representations of the elements on your home alters if you wish. Bring a candle. Create sacred space.
These weekly online classes are 90-minute “drop-ins”. If you have never experienced The School of Movement Medicine practices before– they will be new and refreshing. These offerings are open to everyone. There are no prerequisites and you are very welcome in whatever condition and circumstances you are in your life. The classes offer a space to open into embodied movement with clear facilitation and guidance to encourage you into the dance in a welcoming, non-judgmental, non-competitive environment. The music supports this invitation to invite yourself into presence, encourage your own unique dance and take time and space to connect with body, heart, and mind.

David has been teaching Movement Medicine since 2011 as part of the European Faculty of the School of Movement Medicine. He teaches in Ireland, throughout Europe and the USA. Starting in 2020, David and his wife Yasia Leiserach will be teaching the Movement Medicine Apprentices — an honor given to them by Ya’Acov and Susannah Darling Khan, co-creators of the School. David is also a fully qualified and practicing Psychotherapist and integrates these skills and his passion for shamanic pathways into his work.
“I see Movement Medicine as a contemporary map to explore how to be present and engaged in life in these times we live in. I am fascinated by our capacity as human beings to heal and how we can transform our wounds into medicine for growth and deepening self-acceptance so we can be more fully ourselves and give all that we have to give in this lifetime for the benefit of all life”
Participation in this online practice is fully at the risk and choice of participants. It is each person’s responsibility to look after their physical, emotional and mental well being. Listen to your own body. If something hurts, pay attention and take care of yourself. All participants are asked to move at their own pace and to take care of themselves on all levels. David Mooney, Carrie Branovan, Jennifer Coffey and all people connected to Movement Medicine USA and to the School of Movement Medicine can take no responsibility for injury you sustain as a result of participating in these webinars
